Hollywood Presbyterian Church values the importance of sending our members on short term mission trips throughout the world. These cross-cultural outreaches offer the person going an opportunity to experience the relevance of the Gospel in another culture, to serve the poor and needy first hand, and to be refreshed and challenged in one's own relationship with the Lord. God is passionate about making Himself known to people of all tongues, tribes, and nations, and we at HPC consider it a privilege to be part of communicating His Love and sharing the blessings He has given us to people in Hollywood and throughout the world.

Short Term Mission Trips for 2008

Japan Mission Trip
Led by Rev. Christian Zebley, a multigenerational group of 20 will work with local churches and take part in a national youth outreach. They will also visit Christian hospitals and schools.

Albania Mission Trip
Led by Student Ministries Director Jason Blandford, a group of our highschooleres and adults will be working with mark and Ruth Stoscher in a camp in Albania. This is our fourth team to go to Albania. The Stoschers are a part of FPCH's missions family. High School team members are: Joni Anderson, Gaby Canjura, Emma Loos, Sean Myers, Kelly Norris, Isaac Obrist, Jameson Shock and Julian Stephens. Adults are Cindy & Jason Blandford, Marisa Crabtree, Ralph Obrist and Kristin Tiffany.

In years past we have taken trips to Malawi, Albania, Mendenhall, Kurdish Outreach, Mexico, Guatemala, Los Angeles, and Southeast Asia - Check out pictures and reports!
