Hollywood Presbyterian Church is dedicated to caring for its congregation. As you'll see throughout our website, there are numerous support groups and classroom opportunities available to the Hollywood Pres family.

Sometimes, however, when the difficulties of life become too great, a personal touch is needed. That is where our visitation team of pastors comes in. Longtime pastors Scott Erdman and Kim Strutt have decades of experience caring for the sick and hurting. When members of the congregation are hospitalized or facing issues of extended illness or infirmity, they can depend on the healing presence provided by these two experienced pastors and caregivers.

If you or a family member are experiencing health challenges, or have a prayer need, please contact us at (323) 606-5240, so the visitation team can be notified. Pastoral Care staff is also available to help you arrange Memorial Services.

Additionally, our Deacons reach out to visit shut-ins or those in need. They make a special effort to plan holiday parties at retirement homes in the vicinity.

Finally, you will notice that prayer slips are made available in all services. When you put a prayer request on one of these small slips of paper, we want you to know that the requests are carefully read and sorted. They are then passed among the appropriate pastors and staff so that those people can be personally praying over the needs you have expressed. Please take advantage of this opportunity to let others help share your burdens.
