Here is what you need to do:

Attend the New Members Class

Be received by the FPCH Session and recognized by the FPCH Congregation
Step 1: Let us know you are interested:
Email or call Susan Rigby at 323.606.5264 to reserve a place in the class and click here to fill out the attached information forms and either submit them by email or print them and deliver to them to the church attention, Susan Rigby. . ( Please be sure to let her know if you will need child care that day as well so we can make necessary arrangements)
Step 2: Attend the New Members Class
Membership is all about becoming disciples of Jesus Christ. That's why this New Members Class intends to not only teach you all about our church but to encourage and aid your personal growth.
This one day class introduces participants to what it means to be a disciple of Jesus and in this "new season" at FPCH, participants will discover how God has called each one of us to grow and to serve. The schedule looks like this:
- What it means to be a disciple
- What it means to be Reformed and Presbyterian
- What it means to be a member
- What the history of this great church is and have a tour of the campus
- What it means to worship God, learn about Him and serve Him
- What you can do to make a difference
Anyone is welcome at this class.
You may have been attending FPCH for years but never made the commitment to membership. You may have only been visiting for a short time or are new to this area. You may have been a Christian for many years or you may not be sure what being a Christian really means.... maybe you have never even considered spiritual things before...
All are welcome and there is no obligation to become a member – we want you to feel free to explore. Our pastors, some of our staff & other members will help guide you along this process of becoming a member, allowing many opportunities to ask questions and making sure that you get to know each one during the day.
Step 3: Be Received by the FPCH Session and Recognized by the FPCH Congregation
The Session of FPCH receives new members after the completion of the New Members Class. In addition, new members are recognized by the congregation during worship in the Sanctuary. The Sacrament of Baptism, if needed, is administered during this time.
