Cue Fellowship of Hollywood Presbyterian Church

Welcome to CUE!

We are still here to worship.

These are obviously very turbulent times in the life of our church. We know that many of you have questions about what is happening, here. And we decided that the best way to answer them would be to hold a brief Q & A.

Where did CUE go?

Nowhere.

It is right here. We want to be very clear. This is CUE. We’re even meeting in the original CUE space.

Some of the leadership of CUE last week decided to form their own congregation. Their name is yet to be determined. We mourn the loss to our church body of their companionship, vision and tremendous faith. Even as it grieves us, we pray for God’s wisdom, peace and strength to be with them as they take these steps.

We want to reaffirm our commitment to Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.

We also remain committed to this ministry at this church.

We still worship at Qtopia (now Vanguard)
6021 Hollywood Blvd.
10:45am

What's in store, now?

We don't know.

We are just beginning to walk these steps, together.

We are people who, like you, care passionately about the future of this church and this service. But we are excited that we have the opportunity to discover the future together. We need people to step forward and help us discern God’s will during this time.

Right now, we are just committed that worship should continue.

Where can I go to get information about CUE?

Thanks for asking.

As you may know, www.cuehollywood.org is no longer our website. It is owned and operated by the new congregation.
And until they come up with a new name, which they have said they would do, it is their site.

We tried a few other names:

www.cuearama.org
www.cueitup.org
www.inenglandtheycallitacue.org
www.lmnopCUE.org
www.arentyouCUEt.org

But, we decided on this one:

www.hollywoodpres.org/cue

Simple. For information about upcoming events and to learn how to be involved, you can reach us there.

And check out our new LOGO!

Last Thoughts

We know that we’re confused.

We should all remember that the church has seen a long history of great decisions stem from difficult times. Acts records a disagreement amidst the early church; a heated, passionate debate that raged for years. Yet God continued to love all involved. And together, they eventually discerned His will.

If there is anything positive to be measured from the past days, we think it is this:

People’s faith is as alive and potent now as it ever has been. We are finding out just how much our faith means to us.
It is on our thoughts when we wake and when we go to sleep. We are speaking of it daily.

That cannot be entirely a bad thing.

So let us bring that passion, in all of its tumult, to our Lord in worship.

Let Cue continue.
