With joy, praise, and thanksgiving, the First Presbyterian Church of Hollywood is privileged to announce the vote was overwhelmingly in favor to call the Rev. Dan Baumgartner as Senior Pastor.

A Note from Rev. Dan Baumgartner

Dear friends at First Presbyterian Church of Hollywood,

I’m writing this note at the end of an amazing five days in Hollywood, culminating in your vote to call me as your next Senior Pastor. I am deeply honored and humbled.  It is a new chapter…for Hollywood Pres., and for Anne and me.  Nothing is more clear to me than God’s presence in this entire process.  We are excited to see what the future holds as we look to the Lord and follow Him together.

We are returning today to Seattle, and I will finish my work at Bethany Presbyterian on October 10th.  We will be back at Hollywood for one weekend on September 19th, and then formally begin work in November. 

We have absolutely enjoyed meeting so many of you!  We covet your prayers as we take our youngest child, Dana, off to college; and then as we finish and say goodbye to family, friends and church in Seattle.  These are poignant days, in Seattle and in Hollywood, and we hold you closely in our prayers.
